Travel warning issued as popular tourist battle for deadly virus: ‘half the world’s population now in danger’

Travelers headed to Fiji this summer better pack more than just their bathing suits – they may want to add a serious spray of mistakes.

Disease control and prevention centers (CDCs) just released a warning of the hot tropical point, as cases of fever fever flowed throughout the Western Pacific.

According to the agency, the fever usually start with a high fever, headaches, severe muscle and joint pain, nausea, vomiting and a rash.

Some people can also feel pain behind their eyes.

There is no cure for it, and in mild cases, without prescription pain can relieve some symptoms.

In severe cases – known as hemorrhagic fever of the deng – symptoms can escalate into bleeding, shocking difficulties and intensely abdominal pain.

Only the Central Division has recorded over 1,000 cases of dengs from January to the end of March, according to the Fiji Government.

The world mosquito program called it 2024 “The worst year for dengue in the record”, and the numbers are not slowing down.

In the US, the CDC marked the Dengue as an alarm of Level 1 health, advising travelers to “practice ordinary precautions”.

Tourists are being sought to protect them by using EPA -controlled insect repeals, wearing sleeves and long pants and sleeping in air -conditioned rooms or those with displayed windows.

And it’s not just Fiji feeling the blow.

The CDC has flags some other destinations with hot spots of the fever of the fever, including Brazil, Colombia and the Philippines – all of which have reported more cases of robes among US travelers to return to American soil.
